One thing I have learned over the years is that there is no typical Reiki Practitioner. This is especially true of Reiki Master Teachers, who come from every field of endeavor one can imagine. I know Reiki Masters who are scientific researchers for major universities, MD's and RN's, executives from major corporations, successful financial advisors. Many “Reiki people” chart new horizons that are fascinating and prove the synergistic quality in the world today is ever expanding. Reiki is marvelously synergistic and flows in myriad patterns, helping each person explore their own potential in their own way. I am Ellen Oliver, a Reiki Master and now Karuna Reikimaster Teacher and Practitioner. Loudoun Reiki is the culmination of many years’ delight using Reiki energy in traditional and non-traditional ways. My Reiki journey began almost twenty years ago. In the very beginning I was taught and used the standard Reiki hand positions developed and taught by Chujiro Hayashi, a medical doctor and Shinpiden (Japanese Reiki Master.) However, it wasn’t long – in fact before I had even finished Reiki I, that I found myself spontaneously using Reiki energy in very different ways. Luckily, my Reiki Master was not only open to this, she happily shared many surprising ways to use Reiki. I have been blessed with teachers who teach and practice “unconditional Reiki” respecting all lineages and furthering the dissemination of Reiki into the world, where it acts, always, only to the Highest and Most Holy Universal Good of All.
I invite you to explore Loudoun Reiki, take a class,
schedule an appointment, begin your journey into Reiki or further your
knowledge and follow the path you have begun. Please enjoy this developing site
and contact me for any purpose, I shall be delighted to discuss Reiki, the
healing energy that does no harm, and at a minimum has been proven to relieve
stress and promote relaxation, while activating your own inner healing power.
Self Empowerment is just one gift of Reiki but perhaps the most important
